[Summary]

We are recruiting Janssen Korea Business Unit Head, Oncology & Infectious Disease Business Unit, reporting to Area Managing Director, North Asia. Key responsibilities will include leading multiple teams delivering marketing and sales strategy for a group of products, and leading talent strategy for business unit to attract and develop strong and diverse talent while driving Oncology & Infectious Disease BU to deliver sustainable superior growth, improve operational excellences, shape organization culture in innovation, execution excellence, cross-function collaboration and diversity & inclusion.

[Responsibilities]

The BUD is responsible for leading a team of sales and marketing professionals for Oncology & Infectious Disease business unit, in the development and implementation of a strategy and plan that will most effectively grow the business as well as for supporting the overall growth and success of sales and marketing. Specific responsibilities include:

– Leading team in the development of strategic and tactical plans that will ensure a strong competitive focus and maximize business results now and in the future

– Ensuring the business unit has a team of engaged and high performing people including overseeing the recruitment, development, coaching and overall performance management of direct reports, and others

– Maximizing collaboration and synergies across the brands and people in the business unit, to ensure strong overall integration of brands and sales and marketing

– Collaborating effectively with all business partners to drive business results, and a high-performance culture of team

– Collaborating with Business Development, and region/global Janssen counterparts to prepare for new business opportunities for BU

– Personally interfacing with customers to develop and leverage long term partnerships and ensure strong customer insights

– Play an active role to shape industry policies

– Ensure legal and regulatory compliances in all business activities. This includes understanding the impact of new and existing laws and regulations on the health care industry, seeking legal or regulatory counsel when confronted with potential compliance issues, and taking disciplinary actions when situation requires.

[Requirements]

– Significant track record of success in leadership roles in pharmaceutical industry, including leadership positions in sales and marketing

– Must have proven abilities to grow a business and successful P&L management of a sizeable Business Unit

– Demonstrated track record of innovation and change management in an evolving business environment for greater customer impact and competitiveness

– Proven skill in building highly collaborative and effective relationships across business units and functions and at all levels of the organization

– Demonstration of CREDO values, Customer & Patient Focus, and Innovative Solutions

– Strong, authentic people leader, with experience in building high performing leadership teams, developing talents, and increasing overall talent bench strength, and enhance competitive organization with empowerment, diversity, equity, and inclusion culture
