The Mission of the Business Practices Officer is to embed good business practice and a culture of unwavering commitment to ethics and integrity in our organization. The role is a driving force in evaluation of the strength of Compliance through risk assessments, audits, training etc, and leads follow-up for continuous improvement and risk mitigation around Policies, SOPs, Guidelines and the Industry Codes.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a pivotal part of the business practice governance, the role leads and has oversight in implementation of our company’s business practice frameworks for the subsidiary in collaboration with Legal & Compliance as well as the Country Leadership Team. The Business Practices Officer works collaboratively with all employees and staffs to ensure that our ways of working are well documented, meet local codes, regulations and Corporate Policies. The role acts as an advisor and sounding board for the Country Leadership Teams, and teams across the business in order to identify and minimize areas of risk and enable the business to perform. The Business Practices Officer also identifies opportunities for process simplification and enhancement and collaborates with colleagues to implement across the business, and acts as a change agent in implementation of new practices and in evolving our compliance culture.

Job Requirements
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE
To be successful in this role, you will have:
High ethical standards, being a role model of business compliance and integrity
Strong communicator and good understanding and driver of change management
Proven ability to develop sustainable cooperative professional relationships on all levels of the organization
Takes ownership, works independently and can take decisions and provide relevant guidance
Good analytical skills and ability to structure and prioritize work / Strong business acumen
Acts proactively, stays current and up to date on changing industry regulations
Pronounced diplomacy with strong negotiation and influencing skills
Demonstrates ability to articulate and translate complex needs into clear solutions and can effectively deliver on those.

Qualifications
University degree (preferably in Business Administration, Law, English, Accounting)
Business level English
Min. 3 years of experience related to compliance or data analysis
Experience in accounting/consulting firms or as a para-legal is preferred.
