H.C. Park & Associates, PLC (HCPA) is headquartered in Reston, Virginia.
We have 30 patent professionals residing at the Virginia office.
From our Virginia location, HCPA professionals have access to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office in Alexandria, Virginia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the U.S. International Trade Commission, and the U.S. District for the Eastern District of Virginia.
HCPA has an office in Seoul and has expanded its roles.
Some of our Korean clients include: Samsung Electronics, Samsung Display, Pantech, Naver, NHN Entertainment, Seoul Semiconductor, Mando, and Hyundai Mobis.
HCPA was established by Mr. Hae-Chan Park in 2005, as a full-service intellectual property firm uniquely positioned to serve its domestic and international clients in today’s global IP community.
Today, the HCPA team consists of 30 highly-qualified individuals – over half of whom are minorities, and one-third women.
Steady growth has permitted the firm to expand into Reston, Virginia, which will become the new firm headquarters.

I.모집대상 및 인원: 신입사원 O 명 (정규직)
II.모집부문
1. IP Specialist
1) Essential Responsibilities (Primary Task):
• As an Intellectual Property (IP) Specialist, you will work with Patent Attorneys,
managing worldwide patent prosecution matters including Korea, that may include, but not limited to, filing of new applications, responding to office actions received from various patent and trademark offices such as the USPTO and the KIPO, managing maintenance and renewal fees, and all other related works.
2) Types of IP Specialist Work (Primary Task):
• Preparing shell documents and drafting legal documents for Patent Attorneys.
• Filing documents with authorities of counties of major countries, including the United States.
• Reporting the filing to clients and invoicing

3) Additional Types of IP Specialist Work (Secondary Task):
• Docketing (managing the patent application process; processing and entering essential information such as deadlines into a database)
• Operating client IP management system and any IP related tasks
* 2 years exchange program in the U.S. office (changeable depending on company schedule/circumstances)
4) General administrative support:
• Billing, accounting management and accounts receivable management
• General office support work
• Operating client IP management system and any IP related tasks

2. 급여 및 복리후생:

• 전공 무관
4. 우대조건:
• 영어권 고등학교 및 대학졸업 우대
• 국내대학 출신의 경우 영어 능통자 우대
• MS Office 관련 자격증 소지자 우대 (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word 등)
• 국내 및 해외 회계전공자 우대
