Manages the day to day HR operations in Korea to ensure all the processes are administered in accordance to Nike’s global process and policy and local statutory requirements.
This role (based in Seoul) will be a member of the Asia Pacific HR Shared Services team, reporting to the HR Service Delivery Manager, Asia Pacific.

Core Responsibilities

• Assist on all onboarding, employment movement and exit activities to ensure they are carried out in accordance to Nike global process and local statutory requirements.
• Maintenance of personnel records.
• Manage local Payroll related administrative duties such as providing monthly payroll changes to Payroll Vendor; validation of payroll calculation and perform payroll reconciliation.
• Assist on Year-End Tax Preparation
• Administer leave management system to ensure data integrity.
• Administration of Benefits related programs
• Vendor management of the Payroll and Benefit vendors
• Assist in internal/external audit or any statutory compliance reporting as and when is required.
• Work closely with the HRBPs on Business Facing HR activities that has impact on the operations (ie: Reorganization etc)
• Foster a culture of customer service excellence and continuous process improvement.
• Participate in ad-hoc HR projects if needed.

• University graduate or 1-2 years’ relevant working experience
• Must be fluent in English with professional verbal and written communication skills
• Highly conversant with Korea Labor legislation
• Familiar with SAP system will be an added advantage
• Resourceful and self-driven with a strong sense of commitment and urgency to meet set goals and objectives
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Analytical, meticulous and able to perform independently
• Numerate with high accuracy and attention to detail
