[Summary]
The HR Specialist will directly assist with HR Operational activities ranging from HR data management, onboarding, and employee benefits. He/she is expected to provide administrative as well as analytical support to increase the effectiveness of Global Services HR while improving customer experience. The HR Specialist will learn the importance of employment law and compliance, especially regarding proper maintenance of employee data, compliance and forms management.

[Responsibilities]
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
– Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
– Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities
– Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
– Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc)
– Work on developing forms, processes and manuals
– Maintain or update HR-related tools, databases, systems, or methods.
– Workday daily transaction
– Identify areas for improvement on daily operational processes and provide support to implement these initiatives
– Assist and encourage customers to make effective use of self-service options, systems, services, etc. to drive rapid resolution and empower customers;
– Inform customers of the full range of Global Services HR Services available to them.
– Attend to and process customer inquiries and request by applying HR standard operating procedures and utilizing problem solving skills for resolution.
– Perform special projects and related duties as assigned

[Requirements]
– Current enrollment in a graduate/undergraduate degree program with an interest and aptitude to work in HR.
– Advanced knowledge of English is highly desired.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
– Excellent knowledge of internet tools, and willingness to learn about HR Information Systems (Workday)
– Strong time management, organization skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
– Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality and sensitivity as it relates to employee data and be trusted to secure and maintain confidential information
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, self-directed team-based environment
– Strong interpersonal and written & verbal communication skills
– Enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment
