Luxury Hotel MD Manager ( 해외영업 )

We are actively looking for merchandising manager candidates due to our business expansion.
The merchandising manager will be responsible for all aspects of creating business development by improving ÉVASION merchandising strategy. This includes the development of ÉVASION strategic merchandising plan as well as product packaging plan for the MDs to support selection of hotels and deals.

 

[Key responsibilities]

– Support business development of the market, and manage/maintain our existing relationship with hotel partners.
– Monitor the success of each product and manage partnerships by liaise with hotels.
– Support ÉVASION in research, identification and segmentation of business opportunities regarding target customers to increase the number of potential customer.
– Monitor, research, and report findings on market developments in the travel industry.
– Build and maintain a professional network within the travel/hotel industry.
– Manage all processes leading up to merchandising support to ÉVASION in finalizing the deals. (i.e. leads, prospecting, establishing first contact, meeting, contract, and follow up)
– Establish an understanding of the business objectives of these partners and match these with the range of services of Evasion to create and maximize new business opportunities.

 

[Requirements]

– Minimum of 7 years professional experience in account managing, MD or sales, marketing, ideally for an international business in hospitality, travel, or consumer/luxury products.
– Well-traveled and with a keen sense of market & consumer trends.
– Quick and resourceful, flexible, accurate, strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
– Demonstrable passion in developments of travel industry in general.
– Sales, negotiation skills, Self-starting, responsible, dynamic, result-oriented, strategic thinker.
– Business focused and has ability to identify measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals.
– Excellent analytical skills and ability to understand business financials.
– Proficient in English both spoken & written is essential.
